Alex Schneider
Alex is the founder of Threefold Health. He is also a practicing Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and founder of AJS Mental Health Counseling, PLLC a small group psychotherapy practice in Hudson, NY. He received a Master’s Degree from the State University of New York at New Paltz in 2009. Alex is a graduate and continuing student of the Spacial Dynamics Institute. He is the president of the nonprofit Foundation for Human Movement Studies. Alex worked for 16 years, and in a variety of leadership and clinical positions, at a nonprofit organization with the mission of supporting people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Alex practices psychotherapy with a client-centered, anthroposophically informed and somatic focus. He works with a range of diverse clients to hold a warm and safe space. Alex enjoys working out of relationality and collaborating with peers. Some topics that resonate with Alex both personally and professionally are Freedom, Love, Meaning, Purpose, Embodiment, Movement, Myth and Metaphor.
Alex enjoys balancing the less tangible aspects of our human nature including Thinking, Feeling, and Willing, with real and tangible results in the physical and natural world.
